ASME Foundation Loans
These loans are interest free until graduation. They are granted at any time throughout the year. A recommendation is required by your engineering STEM Professors and we require one financially independent Guarantor as co-signer.

Eligibility
To be considered for a loan, a student must satisfy the following criteria:
- Be an ASME Member or Student Member in good standing. The borrower must remain an ASME member or Student Member for the duration of the loan repayment period.
- Be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.50 on a 0 to 4.00 scale
- Part-time and full-time students are eligible to apply
| Forgiveness Opportunity If a borrower was an ASME Student Section or ASME Professional Section member and remains continuously a member until the four-year anniversary of the borrower’s Start Date will be 100% relieved of the borrower’s repayment obligation.
