Volunteerism
ASME recognizes our responsibility to help enrich our surrounding communities of residence and work.
We encourage our staff to become involved in their communities, lending their voluntary support to programs that positively impact the quality of life within these communities. Community is not defined as just a local community but may include the global community. At the same time, ASME recognizes that participating in these activities enriches the lives of its staff.
Our staff members have been actively involved in:
- Rebuilding homes through Habitat for Humanity
- Educating students in the classroom on the Clean Water Curriculum or understanding the global marketplace
- Providing industry guidance and support for the development of strategy and programs
- Spending a day at the local senior center interacting with the elderly
