Meet Dean B.

Dean Berlin is the Lead Engineer, Robotics Technology for #nationalgrid a company that delivers energy to more than 20 million people throughout New York and Massachusetts. By deploying  Spot,  the quadruped robot from #bostondynamics Dean can inspect electrical substations and other facilities without putting humans in harm’s way. It may look like something from a science fiction film, but Dean shares, "Engineering is about making the impossible possible.”  Six years of training at M.I.T. is a big part of what helped prepare him for this kind of work, and the engineering skills he acquired there and at various other jobs over the years are what got him ready for his role. From his past and current experience, he knows that the world needs engineers!
