The Edward Grood Interdisciplinary Team Science Medal in Bioengineering seeks to recognize a team of scientists and engineers who have collaboratively carried out impactful interdisciplinary science and engineering research in the bioengineering field.

The award was established by the Bioengineering Division in 2022.

Form of Award: $1,500, vermeil medal, certificate, and a $750 travel allowance for the team leader
Administrative Responsibility: Bioengineering Division
Limitation(s): Individuals are not eligible to receive the medal. 
Evidence of the team’s contributions to advancement or translation of knowledge in Bioengineering should be documented in the nomination package.
