ASME’s CCEP program helped to address some of the student challenges. Many students were able to connect with professionals and to receive resources to help them prepare for their careers. By leveraging and marketing ASME resources in partnership with Dallas College, we may convince a student to attend Dallas College, rather than another school.
Students have been able to take advantage of mock-interview sessions & workshops that give insight on team building and problem-solving techniques relevant to multiple engineering industries. Our engineering staff have attended conferences that focus on engineering education, curriculum development, & an abundance of networking opportunities.
